Our Trip to Oostende

After an old elementary school friend of my Dad visited (and they ate lunch), we drove to Oostende, a beautiful city near the coast and the French border.  When we arrived, Uncle Theo had wullocks (sea snails) ready for me and my Dad to eat:
Wullocks and Vodka >_>

After eating some wullocks and some delicious dinner (pan-seared shrimp and scallops), we visited the beach.  It was so incredibly beautiful.  The wind was blowing so hard across the beach, it made the sand flow in what looked like rivers across the beach.

After leaving the beach, we went back to my Aunt's house where we relaxed and watched some tv for the rest of the night.
The next morning we had a delicious Belgian breakfast:

Then we went for a walk to the Nieuwpoort (Newport) beach.  There were a ridiculous number of sailboats

After the walk, we were visited by another one of my cousins, Ann.  After she left, we had a delicious lunch of fish, potatoes and spinach.  After lunch, it was time to leave Oostende, so we hopped in the car and drove back to Braaschaat to get ready for more exciting adventures.
